Forever In Our Hearts
Losing a companion animal is one of the most difficult experiences that you go through. To acknowledge the deep bond we humans have with our pets, PETroglyphs is starting a new section on our website to allow you to pay tribute to your animal. This section will provide an outlet for people to share their memories or grief and to celebrate the lives of their pets who have died. Sharing your stories will also allow readers to empathize with them and perhaps share their own stories.
The first entry in this section will be a tribute to Buffy, whose picture you see here. Nancy Lanzilla lost Buffy in September, 2012. He was the love of her life and his loss has affected her greatly. She kindly shared her feelings with us and was the inspiration for this new section on our website which will be called "Forever in Our Hearts." Go to www.PetroglyphsNM.org/RememberForever.html to read her tribute to Buffy.
If you would like to contribute to "Forever in Our Hearts", you can send one photo and a story, poem, special memory, or whatever you want to share about a special companion animal. Send your items to: Forever@petroglyphsnm.org. Remembrances need to be 600 words or less. Please provide your name, your animal's name and your town/state.
Contribute your memorial to your pet and tell your friends about this new venture. You may even want to share the link to your story with your family and friends.
