You Oughta Be in Pictures Photo Contest

FIRST PLACE WINNER

LUCKY
Roberta Martinez, Rio Rancho

This year's contest brought in many entries that made us smile in recognition of various animal attitudes. They also made it difficult to select a winner. But, the judges finally made their decision. Lucky with his joie de vivre and love of the game is our winner. The second winner, Coyote Bird Madison, and the third place winner, Harrison, are featured on the front of this issue's Animal Lovers' Resource Guide.

We want to thank everyone who sent in a photo. Without you there would be no contest. A special thank you and recognition goes to Ellen Hutchins of Tulliver's Pet Food Emporium in Santa Fe and Albuquerque who prepared a gift basket for our first place winner, Roberta Martinez and her cat, Lucky, of Rio Rancho.

Second and third place winners received cool PETroglyphs prizes from Cafepress.com.

Thanks to everyone who loved their animal enough to share his or her picture with us. The honorable mention winners can be seen throughout this issue.
