A.C.A.T. Yard Sale

Bark in the Park
Saturday, September 24, 10:00 a.m.02:00 p.m., Olympus Park, 500 Quantum Rd., Rio Rancho. (From Coors Bypass, go north on Alameda approximately 4.3 miles, left on Quantum Rd.) Sponsored by Enchantment Pet Resort, there will be vendors, nonprofits, demonstrations, doggie contests and more. A.C.A.T. will be there with our gift table and lots of new gifts. Bring your dog(s) and enjoy!

Animal Humane's Free Behavioral Hotline:
(505) 938-7900 Daily: This free service is available to all pet owners who are experiencing behavior problems with their dogs and cats. Animal Humane's trained behavior coaches are available to answer questions and provide tips on everything from housetraining to living with multiple animals in one home.

NEW MEXICO HOUSE RABBIT SOCIETY
Annual Garage Sale
Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24, 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m., 7104 Osuna Rd. NE (near Osuna and Louisiana)
The fundraiser provides funds to help the House Rabbit Society assist local shelters place bunnies in loving homes and also defrays medical and housing costs for bunnies in foster homes. The primary mission of the House Rabbit Society in New Mexico is outreach and education. NEW MEXICO ANIMAL FRIENDS
Weekly adoptions are held at Petsmart, 8070 Academy Rd. NE, Albuquerque. Dog adoptions are Saturday, 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., Cat adoptions are Saturday, 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and Sunday, 12:00-5:00 p.m.

KINDRED SPIRITS ANIMAL SANCTUARY
Annual Benefit Art Show

Visit with the animals, enjoy the artwork, and meet the artists in a beautiful country setting. The show features the vibrant work of three local New Mexico artists: Troy Kock (oil on canvas), Nancy McDevitt (oil on canvas), and Diane Moreno (wood and tin nichos folk art). All are great animal lovers and generously donate a large portion of their proceeds to benefit our senior dogs, horses and poultry. Subject matter is varied and will include images of our wonderful senior animals, with originals and prints for sale. Please bring your family and friends and support our senior residents. Annual Fall Open House

The Pet Project
Peter Saltzman is donating his 1987 Mercedes (60K original miles) to the Pet Project to benefit a new regional animal shelter. Tickets may be purchased for $25.00 and only 1000 tickets will be sold.
