2nd Annual Fetch-a-Palooza
Albuquerque Journal Center grounds, 7777 Jefferson NE, Albuquerque. Saturday and Sunday, April 24-25, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Fetch-a-Palooza is a two-day adoption event with animals from New Mexico rescues and shelters. Last year's Fetch-a-Palooza found homes for over 600 animals.
Be Kind To Animals Week Poster Contest
March 17-April 17 at 6:00 p.m.

A.C.A.T. Yard Sale
June 5-6. Donations are being accepted on Tuesdays beginning April 20 from 5:00 p.m.-6:50 p.m. and Sundays beginning April 25 from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at ABQ Mini Storage, 4715 McLeod NE, west of San Mateo on McLeod. Sunday, August 22. We are looking for raffle prize donations. Please ask anyone you know who owns a restaurant, salon, entertainment venue, etc. if they would like to donate. A.C.A.T. is a nonprofit organization, all donations are tax free. We are asking help selling tickets as well. Buy A Cookie, Save A Pet
Animal Humane New Mexico, Flying Star Cafe and Satellite Coffee are teaming up for the sixth annual "Buy a Cookie, Save a Pet" campaign. During the month of April, all Flying Star Cafe and Satellite Coffee locations will sell the cookies. Flying Star is committed to raising $25,000 for Animal Humane New Mexico to support their efforts to save and improve the lives of homeless pets.

Spring Open House

During the month of April, Flying Star Santa Fe will sell special cookies to support the Santa Fe Animal Shelter & Humane Society. $1 from each cookie sale will be donated to SFAS&HS to support their mission of helping homeless animals.

Animal Humane New Mexico
Animal Humane opened a new adoption center at 9132 Montgomery NE (between Wyoming and Eubank). It is open from 10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. seven days a week. This location will be for adoptions only. There won't be any intakes here. Adoption fees range from $50-$135 which includes spay/neuter, shots, microchip and licenses. Dogs older than 6 months will have gone through behavior and personality testing. The phone number is 505-323-7387.
The House Rabbit Society New Mexico (HRS New Mexico) is now an official chapter of the House Rabbit Society, an international rabbit rescue organization based in Richmond, CA with chapters and locations throughout the world. HRS New Mexico works to help rabbits who need homes in the Albuquerque area.
