Welcome to Adobe GoLive 6 Welcome to Adobe GoLive 6

For our 2nd annual photo contest and our 10th Anniversary issue, we’re asking for your Sleeping Beauties. If you’ve captured a great photo of your dog, cat, guinea pig, parrot, horse, etc. having a siesta on camera, send it to us. Our favorite photo will receive a prize, and the winning photo will grace the cover of our fall 10th Anniversary issue. Second place, third place and honorable mentions will be featured on the inside pages, and the top 20 will be pubished on our website in living color.

E-mail your favorite jpg’s (50-250 KB) to or snail mail photos to PETroglyphs, PO Box 28214, Santa Fe, NM 87592. Please include your name, address, phone #, e-mail and pet’s name with your entries. One submission per family.

Please note that photos will not be returned unless you include a SASE. The deadline for submissions is August 1, 2006.

While there is no entry fee for the contest, a donation to help PETroglyphs continue to publish for another 10 years would be appreciated.

Bow Wow and Meow! It’s hard to believe, but PETroglyphs will be celebrating its 10th anniversary of publication this fall. To commemorate the event, our fall issue will be extra special. We’d love for you to send us your comments about what PETroglyphs has meant to you. Have we benefited you in any way, and how? Are there particular articles or features that you remember that touched you, or that you found useful? What do you think about our website? Is there anything you don’t like about PETroglyphs? Do you have suggestions about what stories you’d like us to cover that we haven’t?

We’ll print as many letters as possible in our fall issue. You can e-mail your thoughts to: or snail mail them to PETroglyphs, PO Box 28214, Santa Fe, NM 87592.

If you’re also sending us a photo for the contest, it would be a great time to let us know just how PETroglyphs has touched your life and the lives of the animals you love.
